The Bucket List

Source: Wikipedia

The Bucket List is about two terminally ill strangers who meet each other, and consequently change each other's life.  The two write a "Bucket List" of things they'd like to do before they die, and set out to do them in the few months they have left.

I hadn't heard anything about this movie, but as soon as I saw that it had Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman, I knew it would be good, and I was right.  It's a great movie.  I laughed, I cried, and at the end, I was doing both at the same time.

I'm tempted to say that this is a feel-good movie.  One of my favorite scenes was when the two men were simply walking around talking about death in a casual way, on equal terms.  Somehow it was peaceful.

The movie isn't all heavy, either.  No matter what the age, it's fun to see people going out and really living their lives, doing crazy things that you only dream of doing.  The producers hit the right note when they made this movie, and the acting was genuine.  And the last line of the movie is fabulous.
