Catch and Release

Source: wikipedia

Catch and Release is about a woman whose fiance dies. The movie begins with his funeral, and from then on, the movie is mostly about her learning about the past of her deceased fiance.  There's a little romance and a little sadness.  Just a hint of each, really.

The movie didn't do much for me, I guess.  It didn't leave me feeling warm and fuzzy, or sad.  It made me feel a little confused and unhappy. Maybe the movie just went too fast for me to feel like it was realistic. I needed more mourning out of the main character, and I needed a little less wolfishness from her deceased-fiance's friends/roommates. Okay, wolfishness isn't the right word, but something about them was a little too forward to be talking to a recent widow--even if she is young, attractive, and newly-available.

I suppose that if you have two hours on hand and some extra snacks you might want to watch it, but really, there's a lot of other stuff out there that I'd recommend before it.  Like The Bucket List.  That was a good one.
